Theodore Bikel, an internationally beloved actor and singer, is a true renaissance man of the arts. He is best known to the world-at-large for his starring Broadway roles in “The Sound of Music” and most famously as Tevye in “Fiddler on the Roof” and in films like “The African Queen,” “My Fair Lady” and “The Defiant Ones.”
Theo has also been a leader of the American arts community, serving as President of Actors’ Equity and appointed by President Carter to the National Council on the Arts in 1977.
